Reid Goobie is a Canadian Production Sound Mixer, Post-Production Sound Mixer, and Sound Editor from Goderich, Ontario. A graduate of York University’s Film Production program, he has spent more than 15 years crafting sound for feature films, documentaries, television series, commercials, and short films. As the owner of Ontario Sound, Reid has built a career collaborating with filmmakers to capture authentic performances and create immersive soundscapes that elevate every stage of the storytelling process. His work spans intimate independent productions, nationally broadcast commercial campaigns, award-winning documentaries, and major feature films. Throughout his career, Reid has contributed to Sundance Award-winning documentaries and feature films featuring Academy Award-winning and internationally acclaimed actors including Nicolas Cage, Ron Perlman, and Harvey Keitel. His credits include productions such as Sarah Baeumler by Design, Honey Bunch, Modern Whore, Wilfred Buck, The Camp Host, Unit 234, East Harbour Heroes, and The UnXplained, reflecting a diverse body of work across narrative and documentary filmmaking.
